This standard specifies the radiation protection and environmental protection principles and basic requirements that should be followed in the process of site selection, design, construction, operation, closure or decommissioning of uranium mines and dressing and smelting plants. This standard applies to uranium mines and uranium dressing and smelting plants. Mine or dressing and smelting plants containing uranium (thorium) associated ore can also be implemented by reference.
