- This standard specifies the general terms for the structure and performance of the professional basis and equipment of filtration machinery and separation machinery. This standard applies to the design and production of centrifuges, separators, filters, filters, filter media, membrane separation equipment, and cyclones in industrial production processes, and is also applicable to scientific research and teaching of filtration and separation machinery. This standard does not include laboratory centrifuges and air filters.
