- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation, marking and quality certificates of ferrosilicon. This standard applies to ferrosilicon used in industries such as steelmaking and foundry as deoxidizer or alloying element addition agent and metal magnesium.
