Scope

This part of GB/T 18391 specifies the procedures for registering and assigning internationally unique identifiers to management items in different application fields. For the management items to be registered, this part defines the types of information to be specified, the conditions to be met and the procedures to be followed. The requirements and procedures in this part apply to all management items specified in GB/T 18391.3. In addition, this standard also applies to the management of management records, which are the specific details of the management item and the management, identification, naming and definition details required and common to the management item to which it is associated.
