Scope

This part of GB/T 24986 specifies the general requirements for reliability evaluation methods for household and similar electrical appliances. This part applies to the verification of the output of electrical appliances during the design and development process, as well as the monitoring and testing of the characteristics of electrical appliances during the production process. This part is implemented by electrical appliance manufacturers or other corresponding inspection agencies. This part specifies the general requirements for reliability evaluation methods. When evaluating specific electrical appliances, the evaluation method needs to be implemented in combination with the characteristics of specific electrical appliances. Moreover, the evaluation method is not limited to the content specified in this part. It is recommended that the manufacturer and related parties adopt this part according to the actual situation, and supplement and improve the reliability evaluation measures with other methods other than this part.
