- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural forms, product models, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, storage and transportation of pressure-reducing backflow preventers. This standard is applicable to the decompression type backflow preventer for conveying clean water with a nominal pressure less than or equal to PN16, a nominal size of DN15 to DN400, and a temperature not higher than 65°C. The decompression type backflow preventer with a nominal size smaller than DN15 and a nominal size larger than DN400 can be implemented as a reference.
