- This standard is the basic safety regulations for grinding machines, which must be complied with in the design, manufacture, use and management of grinding machines. This standard applies to grinding machines that use grinding wheels or sanding tiles for manual, motorized or automatic processing. This standard does not apply to grinding machines using mounted grinding heads, coated abrasives, oilstones and abrasive pastes.
