Scope

This part specifies the basic methods and requirements for the design, construction, testing and marking of non-electrical equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres formed by gases, vapors, mists and air, and dust and air. This part applies to the environment where the atmospheric pressure is 0.08MPa~0.11MPa and the ambient temperature is -20℃~+60℃. Such environmental conditions may also occur inside the device. This is due to the natural respiration caused by fluctuations in the working pressure and/or temperature inside the device, which draws the outside atmosphere into the device.
