Scope

This standard specifies the conditions for use of high-voltage/low-voltage or low-voltage/high-voltage outdoor prefabricated substations with a rated AC voltage of 3.6kV to 40.5kV on the high-voltage side, including one or more transformers, with a frequency of 50Hz and below, and installed in places accessible to the public. , rated characteristics, general structural requirements and test methods. The substation is cabled and can be operated from inside (entry type) or outside (non-entry type) of it. The relevant provisions of this standard apply to designs where not all components are present (for example: installations consisting only of power transformers and low-voltage switchgear and controlgear).
