This standard specifies the residual resistance ratio of composite superconductors composed of copper, copper-nickel (Cu, Cu-Ni) or copper/copper-nickel (Cu/Cu-Ni) matrix and niobium-titanium (Nb-Ti) core wire (RRR) test method. This standard applies to the determination of the residual resistance ratio of integrated superconducting wires with a residual resistance ratio of less than 350, a cross-section of less than 3mm2, and a rectangular or circular cross-section under the condition of no external magnetic field. The main reference method for the measurement of residual resistance ratio is described in the text of this standard, while some other optional measurement methods are outlined in A.4.
