Scope
Method 1 of this part of GB/T 12690 specifies the determination method for the content of niobium and tantalum in single rare earth metals. Method 1 in this part is applicable to the determination of niobium and tantalum content in single rare earth metals. Measuring range: niobium 0.010% ~ 0.50%; tantalum 0.020% ~ 0.50%. Method 2 of this part specifies the determination method for the content of niobium and tantalum in a single rare earth metal. Method 2 of this part is applicable to the determination of niobium and tantalum content in a single rare earth metal. Measuring range: niobium 0.001 0% ~ 0.050%; tantalum in other rare earth metals except holmium 0.001 0% ~ 0.050%; tantalum in holmium 0.002 0% ~ 0.050%.
