- This standard specifies the raw materials and technical requirements, scope of application, usage methods, inspection methods, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, labels, instructions and precautions of iodine-containing disinfectants (tincture of iodine, povidone iodine). This standard applies to iodine tincture containing available iodine 18g/L-22g/L and iodophors containing available iodine 2g/L-10g/L, which are used as disinfectants for skin, mucous membrane and hand disinfection. Iodophor disinfectants specified in this standard refer to complex iodine disinfectants made of iodine, polyvinylpyrrolidone (povidone) and polyol ether nonionic surfactants, potassium iodide and other components.
