- This standard specifies the product classification, structural requirements, performance requirements, test methods, manufacturing and production tests, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, and storage of instant water heaters for household and similar purposes. This standard applies to household and similar instant water heaters. The safety performance of the water heaters involved in this standard shall meet the requirements of GB 4706.1 and GB 4706.11.
