Scope: This standard applies to the determination of silicon carbide in slide rail bricks and seat bricks for small heating furnaces. Measuring range: silicon carbide content 10.00~17.00%. This standard is not applicable to the determination of silicon carbide in samples containing aluminum carbide, titanium carbide, etc. This standard includes the soda asbestos absorption gravimetric method and gas volumetric method. This standard complies with GB 1467-1978 "General Rules and General Provisions of Standards for Chemical Analysis Methods of Metallurgical Products".
