This limit applies to newly built and modified 1435 mm standard gauge railway steam, electric, diesel locomotives and various vehicles. Note: "Newly built" refers to the rolling stock designed and manufactured after the implementation of this standard. "Modified" refers to the rolling stock designed and manufactured before the implementation of this standard but required to be modified according to this standard.
