- This standard specifies the terminology, design and performance requirements, test, displacement determination, equivalent displacement calculation, marking and lead seal, quality assurance system and general requirements for installation, adjustment, maintenance and repair of safety valves. This standard is applicable to all kinds of safety valves with flow channel diameter greater than or equal to 8mm and set pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa. This standard does not limit the applicable temperature of safety valves.
