Scope
This standard specifies lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr (VI)), and two types of bromine (polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polyvinyl diphenyl ethers (PBDE)) in electrical and electronic products. Determination method of chemical flame retardant content. This standard only involves the processing and testing of samples, and the category and sampling method of samples shall be determined by the testing agency. It should be noted that the choice of samples will affect the expression of test results. This standard does not cover: - the definition of a sample "unit" or "homogeneous material"; - the disassembly procedure for obtaining the sample; - the evaluation procedure.
