Scope

This standard specifies the coding method for the category of the weighing instrument model, weighing method, carrier form, specification, type, etc., and also specifies the naming rules for weighing instrument products. This standard is applicable to the model compilation of weighing instruments. This standard does not apply to the following products: wooden steelyard scales; balances; mass comparators.
