Scope

This standard specifies the test specimens, test equipment, test conditions, test procedures and result calculations for the determination of tensile properties. This standard is applicable to the determination of tensile stress, tensile modulus of elasticity, Poisson's ratio, elongation at break, and drawing of stress-strain curves of fiber-reinforced plastics.
