- This standard specifies the technical requirements, scope of application, methods of use, inspection methods, marking and packaging, transportation and storage, labels, instruction manuals and precautions for ozone generators used for disinfection of water, air and object surfaces. This standard applies to ozone generators that physically produce ozone and use it for disinfection. This standard does not apply to ozone generators that produce ozone chemically.
