Scope: This standard specifies general rules for sampling and sample preparation of all types of ferroalloys. The method specified in this standard is applicable to taking incremental samples of batch materials in both bulk and packaged delivery forms during loading or unloading, and is also applicable to taking incremental samples of batch materials in the form of static stockpiling delivery. This standard specifies both manual and mechanical sampling methods. This standard is used in conjunction with the relevant standards of various ferroalloys.
