This standard gives the terms and their definitions used in environmental testing of electrical and electronic products, such as: components, subassemblies, components and devices. Environmental conditions include: shock, vibration, climate (temperature, humidity and air pressure), sealing (preventing solids, liquids, gases from immersion or maintaining differential pressure), welding heat (including thermal shock from welding). This standard does not involve the relevant terms of the fire hazard test, and its relevant terms are listed in the GB/T 5169 standard. The following conditions are not considered: solar radiation, mold growth, corrosion, terminal strength, durability of markings, dust, sand and precipitation, nuclear radiation, acoustic vibration.
