Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, grade, appearance and defect, size and tolerance, shape and position tolerance, surface roughness, main magnetic properties and temperature characteristics of rare earth cobalt permanent magnet materials and their test methods. It lists typical values of some electromagnetic properties and some mechanical and physical properties, and also stipulates the inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of materials. This standard applies to rare earth cobalt permanent magnet materials.
