Scope: This standard specifies the method for measuring the rolling resistance of new pneumatic tires originally designed for passenger cars and trucks under controlled laboratory conditions. This standard applies to new pneumatic tires for passenger cars, pneumatic tires for trucks and pneumatic tires for motorcycles other than tires that are only used for temporary replacement.
