Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of vulcanization accelerator 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (referred to as vulcanization accelerator MBT). This standard applies to the vulcanization accelerator MBT produced by high-pressure reaction of sulfur, carbon disulfide and aniline or nitrobenzene; the vulcanization accelerator synthesized by o-nitrochlorobenzene, sodium sulfide, sulfur, and carbon disulfide under normal pressure MBT.
