Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, method overview, specimens and test methods, test results and test reports for the room temperature tensile test of deformed aluminum, magnesium and their alloy products. This standard is applicable to specimens and test methods for tensile tests at room temperature of deformed aluminum, magnesium and their alloy plates, strips, foils, tubes, rods, shapes, wires, forgings and other processed products.
