Scope

This part of GB/T 16507 specifies the strength calculation method for pressure components of water tube boilers, the design allowable stress of materials and the verification method for determining the maximum allowable working pressure of components. This part applies to the pressure components of water tube boilers defined in the scope of GB/T 16507.1, including boiler shells, header shells, pipes, pipes within the boiler range, convex heads, flat end covers and cover plates and tees and other special-shaped components.
