Scope: This standard specifies the safety requirements for the pressure components of stationary boilers and related non-pressure components bearing loads in terms of materials, design, manufacture, inspection, testing and safety accessories. This standard is applicable to the boiler body and boiler pipes of the following boilers: a) Steam boilers whose rated pressure is greater than atmospheric pressure. b) Hot water boilers with rated thermal power not less than 0.1MW and rated pressure not less than 0.1MPa. The rated pressure of the boiler, the rated steam pressure of the steam boiler, and the rated outlet water pressure of the hot water boiler. Stationary boilers in this standard include boilers that use fuel combustion heat energy and flue-type waste heat boilers that receive radiant heat. The non-pressure bearing elements related to the pressure bearing elements mainly include the stress members used to support the pressure elements and the stress members welded on the pressure elements to bear other loads.
