- This standard specifies the terms and definitions of ferrite grain size of cold-rolled low-carbon steel sheets, samples and preparation, measurement methods, test reports, etc. This standard is applicable to the determination of the ferrite grain size of cold-rolled low-carbon steel sheets with a carbon content less than 0.2%. The determination of the grain size of other metal materials whose grain shape is similar to this standard series of rating charts can also refer to this standard implement.
