Scope: This standard specifies the preparation, marking and measurement methods of textile fabrics, garments and fabric component samples for the determination of dimensional changes caused by treatment procedures such as washing, dry cleaning, water immersion or steaming. The treatment procedures are in accordance with GB/T 8629, GB/T 8629, T 19981, GB/T 8631, ISO 15797, FZ/T 20021 regulations. This standard applies to woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and textile products, not to certain decorative coverings.
