This part of GB/T 18988 specifies the terms and test methods for the performance characteristics of positron emission tomography devices. Positron emission tomography devices detect annihilation radiation (annihilation radiation) of positron-emitting radionuclides by coincidence detection. The test methods specified in this section were chosen to reflect as closely as possible the clinical use of positron emission tomography devices. The test methods performed by the manufacturers are intended to enable them to characterize positron emission tomography devices. Therefore, the technical conditions given in the product accompanying documents should be consistent with this section. This section does not specify which tests the manufacturer will perform on a single tomography device. This section does not specify the measurement method for the uniformity of the reconstructed image, because most of the methods known so far reflect the noise in the image.
