- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test devices and measuring instruments, test requirements, test procedures, calculations and test reports for valve flow coefficient and flow resistance coefficient tests. This standard is applicable to: a) tests of flow-pressure loss, flow coefficient and flow resistance coefficient of products such as valves and pipe filters using water as the medium; b) the flow resistance coefficient value of the tested product ζ is greater than 0.1. The test of flow-pressure loss, flow coefficient and flow resistance coefficient of other similar valves and pipe fittings can refer to the method of this standard.
