This part of GB/T 16422 specifies the open carbon arc lamp test method for specimens exposed to humid conditions. Natural aging effect. This part is applicable to the evaluation of weather resistance of plastics under the condition of exposure to carbon arc lamp light source and the comparison test of weather resistance among plastics. The samples were exposed to a filtered open carbon arc lamp under controlled environmental conditions (temperature, humidity). There are a variety of filters to choose from. Specimen preparation and result evaluation for specific materials refer to other national standards. The general rules are given in GB/T 16422.1.
