- This standard specifies the test and calculation methods for the relative shielding effectiveness of high-performance shielded rooms. This standard applies to high performance shielded rooms of sheet metal construction capable of suppressing electric and magnetic fields by several orders of magnitude. It is especially suitable for rectangular shielding rooms with sides ranging from 1.5m to 15.0m. This standard is suitable for testing on-site with non-ideal conditions using conventional equipment.
