- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, judgment rules and inspection reports of safety requirements for foot protective shoes (boots). This standard applies to foot protective shoes (boots) that protect the wearer's feet and legs from hazards in the work area. This standard does not apply to foot protective shoes (boots) containing electronic and electrical components, and does not include protective performance tests of foot protective shoes (boots) and chemical analysis of metal parts.
