- Scope
- This part of GB/T 17934 aims to specify the process parameters and parameter values applied when the flexographic four-color printing process is used in packaging and publishing printing. When selecting these parameters and parameter values, the entire printing process is considered, covering various processes such as color separation, color separation film output, printing plate making, proofing, printing and surface finishing. This section applies to printing on white substrates or plastic films that have been coated with a white coating. This section can be applied to: -- labels, cartons, corrugated boxes and flexible packaging using flexographic printing; publications using flexographic printing, such as: books, product catalogs and commercial prints. --The halftone and continuous tone proofing process that simulates the color effect of flexographic printing.
