Scope: This specification specifies the detailed requirements for rolled homogeneous armor plates of 28Cr2Mo (code-named GY4), 26SiMnMo (code-named GY5) and 22SiMn2TiB (code-named 616) for armored vehicles. This specification is applicable to GY4 steel plates with thicknesses of 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm for armored vehicles, GY5 steel plates with thicknesses of 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm and 20mm, and GY5 steel plates with thicknesses of 5mm, 6mm and 8mm , 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 16mm, 18mm, 20mm and 22mm 616 steel plates.
