Scope
This standard specifies a method for determining the plastic strain ratio of metal sheets and strips. This standard is applicable to materials with uniform plastic deformation (that is, the part where the stress-strain curve in the plastic deformation range is monotonously rising), and is also suitable for materials with inhomogeneous plastic deformation (that is, the stress-strain curve in the plastic deformation range is sawtooth, etc. parts of discontinuous shape).
