Scope

This standard specifies the hygienic requirements for release coatings on the inner walls of food cans. This standard applies to release coatings for the inner walls of food cans that use ethylene bis-stearamide as a release agent. This coating is printed on tinned sheet and baked at high temperature to form a coating film, which can be used on the inner wall of canned meat such as luncheon meat.
