Scope

The purpose of this guideline is to provide a guideline and make some explanations for the current methods of lightning impulse and operating impulse tests for power transformers, as a supplement to GB1094.3-85. The content of this guideline is also generally applicable to reactors, as for electromagnetic voltage transformers, it can also be implemented with reference.
