Scope: This standard specifies the method of stacking test for transport packages using a pressure testing machine. This test is suitable for evaluating the compressive strength of transport packages and the protection ability of the contents during stacking. It can be used either as a single test to study the effects of compression on packages (deformation, creep, crush or rupture) or as part of a series of tests.
