Scope: This standard specifies the term definitions and symbols, measurement principles, samples, measurement devices, measurement procedures, calculations, repeatability and test reports of open-circuit flux measurement methods for residual magnetism, DC magnetic properties measurement methods and intrinsic coercive force measurement methods . This standard is applicable to the measurement of the magnetic parameters of steel materials with a coercive force ranging from 0.5kA/m to 100kA/m, including plates and bars.
