Scope

This standard specifies the hygienic requirements for polycarbonate resins. This standard applies to bisphenol A polycarbonate resins polymerized by melt method. It can be used to make containers, packaging materials, and food industry equipment and utensils that directly or indirectly contact with food, but it is not suitable for food with high concentration of ethanol.
