This standard specifies the method for the colorimetric determination of ferrous sulfate reacting with potassium ferrocyanide to form a blue complex through oxidation. This standard applies to the determination of trace amounts of potassium ferrocyanide in various edible salts. The detection range is 3-100μg/50mL (calculated as [Fe(CN)6]4-).
