Scope: This standard specifies the requirements and qualification criteria for impact and bump tests of measuring relays and protective devices. This standard is part of a series of standards specifying vibration, shock, bump and earthquake requirements, applicable to electromechanical and static measuring relays and protective devices with or without output contacts (hereinafter referred to as products). This standard includes two types of tests: a. Impact test (with or without stimulus applied to the product); b. Impact test (without stimulus applied to the product). This standard applies to newly manufactured measuring relays and protective devices. The tests specified in this standard are type tests.
