- This standard specifies the definition, principle, equipment, sample, test procedure, result calculation, test error and test report of thermal expansion measurement of refractory materials. This standard is applicable to the determination of linear expansion rate, average linear expansion coefficient and instantaneous linear expansion coefficient of refractory materials. This standard contains the following two thermal expansion test methods: a) Differential method; b) Push rod method.
