- The "Unified Standard for Civil Building Design" is now approved as a national standard, numbered GB50352-2019, and will come into force on October 1, 2019. Among them, Articles 4.3.1, 6.7.4, 6.8.6, and 6.8.9 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original national standard "General Rules for Civil Building Design" (GB 50352-2005) will be abolished simultaneously. This standard is published on the website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (www.mohurd.gov.cn), and is published and distributed by the China Construction Industry Press organized by the Institute of Standards and Quotas of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
