Dissolved Ozone is useful in many industries for water sanitization, TOC reduction, food preservation, cleaning-in-place of food and beverage systems, and pyrogen destruction. It is often necessary to know how much ozone has entered the water, how much remains, and the degree to which it has been removed before process use. Some applications require that contact time, DO3 concentration integrated over time, be calculated, to assure disinfection. Continuous observation of trends in these measurements are needed for continuous quality monitoring and the measurement may be used for closed loop control of ozonation. In many pure water applications and especially where water quality is regulated by the FDA or similar enforcement agencies, ozone removal must be complete before the water is used. This test method is useful for detecting and determining dissolved ozone levels in water at the trace level as well as at process concentrations where sanitization and chemical reactions occur.1.1 This test method covers the on-line and in-line determination of dissolved ozone (DO3) in low conductivity water in the range from 0.001 mg/L to 5.0 mg/L DO3 and conductivity < 100 μS/cm, typical of pharmaceutical and microelectronics pure waters. DO3 is detected by correlating the response of a membrane-covered electrochemical sensor to the dissolved ozone concentration. 1.2 This test method provides a more convenient means for continuous measurement than the colorimetric methods typically used for grab sample measurements. 1.3 This test method has the advantage of high sensitivity as well as durability in the process environment and has few interferences. 1.4 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard. 1.5 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.

This standard deals with pipe provers and with their use for testing measuring systems for liquids other than water (hereinafter called “measuring systems”), in order to verify that they comply with the relevant metrological requirements in the Gulf Standard “Measuring systems for liquids other than water”. In clauses 2 and 3, metrological characteristics of pipe provers are summarized, including their calibration. In clauses 4 to 8, methods are given for testing the following measuring systems: • measuring systems on road tankers, • measuring systems for the unloading of road and rail tankers, ships’ tanks and tank containers, • measuring systems, for the loading of road and rail tankers, ships’ tanks and tank containers, • measuring systems on pipelines, • measuring systems for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) under pressure, • LPG dispensers, • fuel dispensers, Other types of measuring systems or measuring systems for other kinds of liquids may generally be tested according to one of the above methods. However, when special methods should be used for a particular measuring system or certain liquid, they will be the subject of future amendments or separate standards. 1.1 This part of ISO/TR 7066 describes the procedures to be open channels, and of assessing he uncertainty associated with such calibrations. Procedures are also given for estimation of the uncertainty arising in measurements obtained with the use of the resultant graph, ad for calculation of the uncertainty in the mean of a number of measurements of the same flowrate. 1.2 Only linear relationships are considered in this part of ISO/TR 7066; the uncertainty is non-linear relationships forms the subject of ISO/TR 7066-2. This part of ISO/TR 7066 is applicable, therefore, only if a) the relationships between the variables is itself linear. Or One or both variables can be transformed in such a manner as to create a linear relationship between the, as for instance by the use of logarithms, Or The total range can be subdivided I such a way that within each subdivision the relationship between the two variables can be regarded as being linear; and if. b) systematic deviations from the fitted line are negligible compare with uncertainty associated with the individual observations forming the graph. This standard specifies the metrological and technical requirements for the pattern approval and verification of instruments used to determine the mass of liquid contained in a tank using methods which measure mass-related properties of the liquid while it is in a static state, e.g. the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid and gases in the tank. It does not include instruments which determine the mass of the liquid by methods covered by other GSO standard(1) , e.g. by weighing, by measuring the volume and density and converting to mass or by mass flow measurement. This standard also includes pattern approval and verification procedures and test methods.
