These requirements also cover cord-connected units with an integral cigarette lighter connector assembly@ or a direct current (DC) input jack for being powered from a separate Vehicle Battery Adapter. These requirements do not cover appliances and equipment that are covered by individual requirements that are separate from this standard@ such as soldering irons@ ink-jet printers@ or photographic film printers. These requirements do not cover appliances and equipment that are intended for use in marine or aircraft.
