ESDU 94022 is one of a series dealing with the thermal conductivity of liquids. Tables for sixty-one halogenated ethanes give correlated values of thermal conductivity at saturation pressure. The temperature range is from melting point to 0.9 of the critical temperature. The data were obtained by fitting a polynomial equation to experimental data from a wide range of sources for each compound; the constants of the equation were also faired with molecular structure for compounds that were members of the same chemical series. An equation for predicting the effect of pressure on thermal conductivity for pressures up to 500 atmospheres is suggested. A full bibliography is given of the sources consulted.
